DIFFERENCE 02

How much you author by hand

How much you author by hand

Manual editing after the draft, or edits in plain language.

DIFFERENCE 03

ARTICULATE 360 AI

Adds AI drafting to an established tool. It drafts a course from a prompt or file, then you edit by hand in Rise or Storyline.

CREATEUPON

Built around an L&D agent. It plans and storyboards the courses, then edits and critiques on request in plain language. Direct editing is there when you want it.

→ Example: Upload a PDF. Review the storyboard. Ask the agent to "shorten module 3 and add a Scenario".

02 · DELIVERY

Edit once.
Every copy updates.

ARTICULATE 360 AI & FRONTLINE

360 AI exports SCORM, xAPI and cmi5 to any LMS, or delivers through reach, sold separately. Frontline shares trackable links only, with no LMS export.

CREATEUPON

Learner tracking built in. Publishes to dynamic SCORM, editable

PowerPoint, PDF and more. Edits go live instantly.

Edit a course in CreateUpon. The SCORM package in your LMS updates.

No re-upload.

03 · LEARNER ENGAGEMENT

Give learners something to do, not just read

ARTICULATE 360 AI

Knowledge checks, a basic AI tutor, audio narration and templated scenarios, with Storyline for anything custom. Avatar video is credit-metered.

CREATEUPON

Knowledge checks, audio narration and interactive components, plus custom HTML games and realtime AI avatar roleplay with rubric scoring.

→ Example: upload your objection-handling guide. The agent turns it into a live roleplay the learner speaks to, and gets scored on.

04 · PRICE

Similar seat price. Fewer add-ons.

A five-seat CreateUpon team pays for seats, translates at no extra cost, and buys credits only if it uses avatar roleplay or AI video.

MIGRATION AND LMS

Bring your content. Keep your LMS.

Can you import Rise courses into CreateUpon?

Can you import Rise courses into CreateUpon?

Yes. CreateUpon imports PPTX, PDF, video, audio and more. It rebuilds the

structure and keeps text, media and quizzes. Then you edit it like any

CreateUpon course, including with the agent.

Storyline files don't import. Complex Storyline interactions need rebuilding,

and HTML games and scenarios cover most of what teams use Storyline for.

How does CreateUpon work with your LMS?

How does CreateUpon work with your LMS?

It exports SCORM to any LMS, and it's part of LearnUpon. Courses publish

straight to your LearnUpon portal. No packaging, no re-upload after edits.

Completion and assessment data flows back into CreateUpon, so the agent

works from real outcomes.

SEE THE OUTPUT FOR YOURSELF

It’s the fastest way to decide. Articulate has a 30-day free trial. CreateUpon has a 14-day free trial, or an extended pilot for enterprise teams with 10+ licenses.

Check three things

1

Accuracy

Does it match your source?

2

Editing effort

How much work before you’d publish?

3

Learner activity

Does it give learners something to do, not just read?
